I've always been in love with rock but not so in love with some of the bull that surrounds it. How many times have you wondered why you bothered to go to a show and run into so many major and minor annoyances (Why not save the trip and spend the money on the entire CD catalog?). He starts his show on time, 3 Decades Rewind is so different. He goes from song to song with little break and almost no talk, pacing his show so that it not only moves continuously, but always has you wondering what marvel comes next. "I didn't know you can do that with a guitar"! Half the time, I'm sitting there thinking. There is no intermission (love it!!!!), just 2 to 2 1/2 hours of great music, and then you go home happy. The sound was great. The Cincinnati show was a typically great 3 Decades Rewind show, the Taft is a little too tight in the balcony but that's a relatively small thing. I wonder why they go to the time and expense of a fairly involved light show, 3 Decades Rewind and his band is so good. Its just not necessary with music of this quality.
